Location for access to public transport. Air conditioner. Balcony (what a relief! to have a table where one could enjoy a meal.) Instructions for access to the apartment was clear. More than one traveler with luggage: the apartment is just too small to house more than one person and accessories.

FACTUAL: At arrival we had to call for replacement of towels (not much improvement there) and removal of duvet which was stuffed in the small cupboard, taking up all the space. Linen and towels and bed spread are worn. I suggest a fitted sheet for the mattress. A vacuum cleaner is required to clean the dust packed sofa. The balcony floor requires a scrub. The toilet mechanism leaks and cause an unsightly yellow stain on the ceramic. The 10mm opening beneath the round wash basin is a gathering place for all sorts of rubble. The shower outflow requires attention. Although we did not watch TV, we had to report that the remote was not available. I strongly advise that Francesco (owner/agent?) stay there for a night or two to experience first-hand how his write-up compares to the real thing. Requires much needed improvement. Then, the neighbour's balcony was stuffed skyhigh with whatever they could not store in their apartment. Continued... The owner's response is in denial and not adressing the facts: refer the leaking toilet, stain to veramic. Not easy to fix in a jiffy. No use offering repairs while the apartment is occupied by guests... they are not there to identify the items which caused our disapppointment. That is why I suggest that the owner stays in his own apartment just for the sake of comparing his write-up to the real thing. Our arrival was on Sunday afternoon and complaint lodged immediately along with a number of discreapancies. Two ladies (one with a child) so to speak invaded our space to replace the towels and remake the bed, also to remove the duvet from the apartment. Supervision required there! Seemingly some improvement followed, based on a later more positive post regarding the amenities. Might just check in, in future, to test the waters. The location is extremely well situated to go downtown by pubic transport. Keep well.
