Syama Residence

My Youngest son and I stayed here for two nights during our travels. Everything from the beautiful setting to the wonderful rooms and the amazing staff made our stay one of the best so far. Tear who welcomed us arranged bike hire for 50 baht for the day and both bikes where in excellent condition, she also arranged a packed breakfast as we were catching an early train. Mrs Tuhn was amazing even helping us with our bags on check out and the security guard on the front parking area so happy and friendly to help. Final mention to the young lady who served our breakfast which was absolutely fabulous.

Absolutely beautiful riverfront home with traditional Thai theme, very clean, comfortable and with high quality finishes. We had friends visit us and had drinks in the residents only entertainment room, it was fantastic watching the sun go down over the river and temples having a drink in our private home. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here at Syama. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We also went next door to Sala for dinner, it was perfect to have this nice hotel right next door to us.

The room was full of traditional Thai charm. The staff, especially Phu-kan, was courteous and helpful.

Due to the small size of guests, the breakfast offered limited choices. Although we could see that the staff was really eager to please, the quality of the food was mediocre. The location of the hotel was about 2 km from the historical park where most of the famous temples stood, which means you either have to pay overpirced tuk-tuk or brave the scorching sun and walk to places.

Breakfast was ordered. For the price paid , they should have a cook.
