The accommodation offered good value for money and was a good base for exploring Chioggia and the surrounding area. When we first entered, the apartment seemed smaller than we had expected from the photos, which was a little surprising at first, but it very quickly felt cosy and homely. It is a particularly good solution that, despite the small floor area, three separate rooms have been created, so even when travelling as a family, everyone had some private space. The equipment was excellent: practically all the important household appliances and items needed during a holiday were available. The air conditioning was also a major advantage, as it helped a lot in the humid summer heat and made the stay much more comfortable. Chioggia itself was a very pleasant surprise for us: a charming, characterful and authentic town with canals, narrow streets, local restaurants and a much calmer atmosphere than the most tourist-heavy places in the region. It is a good choice for travellers who want a lively Italian town with a local feel, but something less crowded and less overwhelming than Venice. The location also worked well for day trips. Padova is easy to reach by car and is definitely worth visiting for its historic centre, squares and university atmosphere. Venice can also be reached from Chioggia using the ACTV route via Pellestrina and Lido. It is not the fastest or simplest route, but it is a very scenic and interesting way to arrive, especially for those who want to experience the lagoon as well, not only the standard tourist route. We also liked the nearby beach options. Sottomarina is convenient and easy to reach, while the pine forest beach near Porto Caleri was a particularly good experience on a weekday: peaceful, close to nature and much less crowded. It is a very good option for people who prefer a quieter beach environment instead of dense rows of umbrellas and large crowds. Overall, the accommodation was a good-value, practical and well-equipped choice,

The accommodation itself was basically fine, but the communication before and during arrival was much more difficult than we expected. Before our arrival, I sent a message asking whether Messenger or another faster way of communication would be available to make contact easier, but I did not receive a reply. When we arrived, the phone number provided unfortunately went to voicemail, which created quite a stressful situation in an unfamiliar town, arriving by car with family. The arrival information could also be much more practical. The exact address alone was not clear enough; a map location, photos of the entrance, or clearer instructions about exactly where to stop and where to go would have helped a lot. In Chioggia, because of the narrow streets, ZTL zones and parking situation, this is especially important. The online check-in, the contractual documents and the payment of the tourist tax together made the process unnecessarily complicated and somewhat uncertain. The legal-style communication was not very guest-friendly, and the process of paying the tourist tax was not completely clear at first. The messages regarding the credit card / deposit also caused some uncertainty. For guests arriving by car, a short and practical parking guide would be useful. The Saloni car park is a good value option, but because it is probably one of the best parking options in the area, it is difficult to find a free space in the evening, especially between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. The Wi-Fi information on the paper posted on the door did not match the network and password that actually worked. This is a small issue and easy to fix, but it caused unnecessary confusion on arrival. There were also a few small comfort-related shortcomings. For three guests, two cheap rolls of toilet paper and only one dishwasher tablet were quite limited, so we had to take care of the rest ourselves.

L’accoglienza….abbiamo aspettato oltre 40 minuti sotto il sole con un bambino pur avendo concordato l’orario di arrivo… quando sono arrivate le ragazze sono state un po’ sbrigative nessuno si è scusato per il disagio

Nulla, struttura e gestione perfette. Aggiungerei solo un segnaposto preciso per l’ufficio check-in e per l’appartamento.

Top Lage und Ausgangspunkt für Stadterkundung

Übergabe/Checkin war trotz mehrmaliger Zeitvereinbarung 1 Stunde später und eher unfreundlich, auch null Verständigungsmöglichkeit da keine Englischkenntnisse. Leider war das Appartement nicht so sauber wie erwartet (Boden) und ein Polster war nicht überzogen.
