Chateau de Woodlawn - Room III - The Dream Catcher

It was very clean and quiet. It was easy to find as well!

The property is far away from the city of Chicago and in a stretchy arena.

I was traveling alone and stayed for 9 nights in the single room. It was a very pleasant stay: the room is small but very functional and extremely clean. The common areas are well maintained, and there is the possibility to cook and use the refrigerator. Communication with the hosts was smooth and effective through the Booking.com app and WhatsApp. The house gives a great sense of warmth and safety, and within about ten minutes you can reach the Green Line train. The neighborhood seemed quiet, though not very lively in the evening due to the lack of nighttime commercial activity. In any case, I never had any issues getting back using public transport, even after midnight. I recommend this place and hope to return if I happen to be in Chicago again.

Accueil très chaleureux de nos hôtes, Tracye, Francis et aussi l'adorable Gizelle. La chambre et le logement sont très propres ainsi que les sanitaires. Nous avons apprécié qu'il faille se déchausser pour entrer dans le logement, car c'est une règle d'hygiène que nous appliquons chez nous. Le quartier est très calme. De nombreux transports en commun nous permettent de se rendre rapidement sur tout Chicago.

The inside of the house and room were clean.

The location was in a very run down part of the city. I was feeling uneasy when I pulled up, went inside to scope it out and was planning on staying until a man approached me by my car and said “so, this is where you staying, huh?” And as a single woman traveling with my disabled mom I thought it was best to leave and get another room.
