Deluxe Tufnell Park Apartment

Great size, bed was comfortable, smelt like clean the moment I walked in. There was a standing fan which I was pleased about so that kept me nice and cool! Shower had waterfall and regular option and good size with great temperature control and plenty of hot water. Host was great sending clear instructions how to get in. Ideal location very close to tuffnell park station and the globe (which is where the gig I was going to was) Ample fridge and freezer space. Plenty of sockets both USB and standard UK. Would 100% stay again!

At the bottom of a hill so if you are a wheelchair user just be aware of that.

The location is great, close to shops and the arena we were staying at! It also had a very clean and large space for us to settle for the night. It definitely felt more premium compared to other places we stayed.

There was a couple of hairs and crumbs of unknown origin on the bedsheets. I’d also like to add that there are train tracks RIGHT outside of the windows of the property and every 10 minutes or so we heard loud trains passing by but closing the window definitely helped.

This apartment is an excellent opportunity for a 4-person stay in London. The instructions for arrival were very detailed and we had no issues getting there. It has a great location with very easy access to the underground and overground (Mildmay line) and the neighbourhood is peaceful. The wifi quality was quite good. The apartment was overall very clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of kitchenware/plates/crockery to cook, as well as a large fridge. It really felt cosy!

As in most London buildings, don't expect the windows to be fully sound-proof - there's a railway running next to it but trains don't run too often so it didn't bother us. Having 1 or 2 kitchen cloths would have been helpful.

It was in the right area for our visit.

This is the email I sent to the owners/managing company. As yet I have had no reply (4 days after stay and counting): You failed to be specific about the address and where on the road it was, despite my telling you that it was dark and raining, and that we were carrying luggage. The photos of the lock box did not bear any relation to what was on the wall and we had to try them all.  When I sent you a message asking where the sofa and sofa bed were, you didn't even answer me.  I chose this apartment because there would be somewhere to relax over the 4 nights we were staying.  The description was clear that there was a sofa and the photographs you posted confirmed this.  When we arrived you had swapped them for another two beds.  There was nowhere for us to sit together and spend time without sitting bolt upright in the dining area chairs. This is misrepresentation.  This is not a deluxe apartment: there is graffiti on the bathroom window and the toilet seat does not fit properly.  We were woken in the night by lots of voices and police lights attending an incident. Our nights were also interrupted by water running in other flats and refilling in their pipes. Outside the bedroom window are train tracks, with trains that travel day and night, noisily, disturbing our sleep and preventing rest and relaxation. This is severe enough to require a warning on your description/booking.com entry.  We are not happy, as this was not just some overnight where we can ignore the shortcomings. It was for a special occasion to visit with family and friends, and it was expensive.  We did not get a single good night's sleep and took no joy in being in the flat. We will not be returning.
