A due passi da Brignole

Grand appartement très propre et pas très loin de la gare. Un centre commercial avec supermarché tout neuf juste à côté, avec parking sécurisé très récent. Quartier résidentiel plutôt calme. Acces au logement par un système d’appli et codes un peu angoissant mais qui finalement a bien fonctionné. Au sixième étage avec ascenseur . Trois vraies chambres.

Un peu isolé du centre ; il faut traverser une zone très bruyante pour gagner le centre ville. Le seul climatiseur est dans le couloir ; il faut donc avoir les portes ouvertes pour diffuser le froid. Pas de décapsuleur ni de tire-bouchon, pas de fer à repasser !

- the apartment is just about 30 minutes by feet from the city centre - there is a metro station about 10 minutes by feet, which will take you to the city centre in shorter time - there is a small shopping centre right next to the apartment with grocery shop and some restaurants - the apartment is spacious and in general quite clean - easy payment for parking - cash or card, or you can use EasyPark app, Sundays and festive days are for free - fast communication with the accommodation provider in case of any issues - according to the information which gave me my friend (who was born in Genova and lives there), this apartment is in pretty safe part of Genova which was renovated in last decades

- For those who want to come by car - parking is quite a problem. It took us several minutes to find a parking place not very far from the apartment (5 minutes walking). You will be at Blu Area R, if you want to park at blue lines, you shall pay. You can try white lines 500-700m from the apartment which are for free, but - at the time of our stay they were constantly occupied. There are also some private parkings with security (not closer than several minutes of walking). Of course, for more money and you have to book your place in advance. - Towels smelled weirdly. - External blinds in the kitchen are not attached to the construction and they make a big noise if the weather is windy. It woke us up several times during windy nights. - If you will visit Genova during mid-season (we´ve been there during Easter) and the weather will not be very good, take some warm clothes and some slippers with you. There are no carptes and the ceilings are very high, so the apartment is pretty cold. (The heating was already turned-off, because it was mid-april.) - Booking.com should adjust and better specify the requirements of the accommodation provider regarding self-check in, documents that will be required and the way these will be required. Knowing at the begining what would be required and how, we would not book this accommodation. Unfortunately, after booking, we had no other chance but to accept the requirements of accommodation provider. Otherwise we would not be allowed to access the apartment. I do not consider this as a mistake of accommodation provider. This is the issue of correct information on booking.com side and they should fix it.
