As someone stated in an earlier review, there is no parking for you specifically. It is just street parking so no guarantees you will get a spot out front. There were also problems with the code for the lock. This too was stated in an earlier review. It was fine the first two days. Then when we got back the next day we could not get in with our code. You have to call someone at Vacassa to get in. They gave me another ten digit code (which is a little much). That code did not work either. Finally another code that did work. Master bedroom was very nice. Bathroom was very nice. All bedrooms were nice but one was so small it had no nightstands or dresser. Good location to access downtown, about a ten minute walk to riverfront. Kitchen was well stocked, beautiful gas stovetop. We enjoyed the front porch in the evening.

My family (wife, two adult children, and three grandkids) and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Simmons. We enjoyed learning the history of the house, walking the historic neighborhood, and strolling the streets of Wilmington. A perfect family vacation.

We gathered at this lovely home for a family function at St Mary’s Basilica. The Basilica was within walking distance which was perfect for us. The house had room for us to sit in the living room. We moved the dining table bench for additional seating in front of the living room fireplace. We gathered in the kitchen and back deck for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The kitchen had everything we needed for our large group. The house is close to the riverfront area and we enjoyed live music and great seafood there! Host was quick to respond when we had an issue checking in. A back up key was on site. A locksmith stopped by to check the lock the next morning at our convenience.
