About this house rental
Comfortable farmhouse in the middle of the Ardèche hills.
Very isolated stone house 120M2, in the middle of Nature for 6 people.
(possibility of having two more beds in the games room at an additional cost)
The house is located on our farm, a forest of nearly 200 hectares. We live 1km away and are at your service in case of need.
The house is an old farmhouse that was abandoned in the 1950s that we have renovated identically, adding all the modern comforts!
Inside, we enter a beautiful living space with open kitchen opening onto a terrace with shaded arbour.
In the living room, you can observe nature through huge bay windows overlooking the forest.
or watch connected TV, or a DVD from our library.
The kitchen open to the living space has all the necessary equipment for your good stay: a large fridge, a freezer, induction hobs, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso, toaster, microwave, steamer, or even a food processor and children's crockery.
The house has three bedrooms:
2 double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with Italian shower
1 master suite with King size bed and bathroom and WC
All these rooms are on the same level and each have shutters, they are articulated in a corridor, where there is also a separate toilet, and a laundry cupboard, with washing machine and dryer.
On the lower level, accessible from inside the house, there is a games room with table football in an old vaulted room of the house, we can convert this room into a bedroom, for two, with an extra charge.
For your comfort, you will find WIFI access via starlink, and a heated / cooling floor.
Our house is ideal for family or group of friends looking to rest and enjoy nature. Moreover, many walks or mountain bike rides can be done from the house.
The house has its private swimming pool (10m*3.50) secure, heated and benefiting from a large terrace for sunbathing with breathtaking views of the Ardèche Cévennes. It is open from April to September. Sunbeds and sun loungers await you to enjoy breathtaking sunsets!
The house is VERY isolated and its access is on the last km by private unpaved road!!
As a result, friends owners of sports vehicles (tunned or lowered) you will not be able to access the house or you will have to finish on foot :-)
The house is in the commune of Valvignères, whose village is a 15 minute drive away. The village is charming, you will find a bakery, a restaurant and many winegrowers' cellars, since the village has been a wine-growing village since Gallo-Roman times!
We are also 20 minutes from Alba la Romaine, a village of character with an adorable market on Sunday mornings.
20 minutes away, the ibie valley will offer you wild swimming spots
30 minutes away, the Ardèche gorges will allow you to go canoeing!
We are 45 minutes from the Rhône Valley, the motorway, the first SNCF station located in Montélimar
We can advise you on great places to visit or many activities to do!
