It is quiet and away from busy township. Nice to enjoy quality time with your family

Need some universal plug point near mirror for all the international electronic devices. Toilet tissues were not provided

Very nice location and nice little cozy place with only 4 rooms. The rooms were very cleanly maintained and we had a nice view of the backwater canal from the room. The bathroom was also well maintained, spacious and good clean hot water. The staff were courteous and helpful in planning the days and also arranged a very helpful auto for local sightseeing (and the drop back to railway station even though there was a complete strike that day)

- Communicating was a bit hard - the host didn't seem too fluent in English. My request for a room for a few hours on the day of arrival (before the 12 PM check in on the houseboat) went unanswered and I had to arrange this on my own. - Food was average. Not much of a spread - for example, the breakfast should at least offer some bread toasts and oat/corn flakes with milk. And the rice items - veg pulav/biryani was average (although Jeera rice was good!). - The staff also goofed up once and served us powdered prawns (we are strict vegetarians) and it seems the hotel from where they outsourced the veg meals messed up - but the staff should have checked what they are serving! - Although they had 2 bicycles, one was not in working condition at all and the brakes in the other was not working. They should keep these well maintained and also have a small place with a carrom/chess/ludo to engage the customers - esp. the kids.

Good location with good lake view, staff were friendly and very helpful, food was excellent, we enjoyed swimming and most importantly it was very peaceful

The traditional Kerala style breakfast was so delicious and were served as freshly cooked.
