Location is town is fantastic and the unit is spacious. Looks right out on the water. Modern decor and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery. Easy to access with a pin pad. Central AC. Provided a welcome basket of 4th of July goodies. A nice touch.
Very basics in the kitchen. Just salt and pepper. No sugar, coffee, or oil so plan for that. Also the place vibrates like you are above a jet engine (must be a commercial refrigerator or compressor in the business below) but it’s pretty intense. The balcony is just above the fish cleaning area so when you are outside, it’s a bit fishy smelling.

We loved the location! The unit is right above SaugaTaco (excellent food!) and on the river, so we could sit on the balcony and enjoy a beautiful river view. Across the street is Ida's Red Cottage, an amazing place for breakfast, and a 5 minute walk takes you to the shops and other restaurants in this quaint town. The apartment was spotless, and super comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace, the basket of treats, the very comfortable bed, and the huge windows.
We were awakened one morning at 5:00 a.m. by fishermen talking, as they were directly below us on the river. That only happened once, so I'm not sure of their schedule. Also, the check out time is 10:00 a.m. There would have been a charge if we wanted to check out just an hour later, and in my opinion, an 11:00 a.m. check out would allow for a more relaxed morning and offer better value.
