We traveled to Milan to watch the Winter Olympics figure skating competitions. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The apartment is located in a very safe and clean Milano suburb, and it's only 10 minutes walk to the Unipol Forum/Skating Arena. We took the train to Central Milan/Duomo di Milano several times and it only takes about 30 minutes via Metro. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and feels like home. The host is very kind , helpful and responsive. We were a little concerned about finding places to eat and shop in the neighborhood before we got there. The host made great recommendations of restaurants and pizzeria minutes away from the apartment. The restaurants are authentic and offer delicious foods. They are very popular with locals instead of your typical overpriced tourist traps. The supermarket chain, Tigor, is a 10 minute walk. I highly recommend this apartment if you want to stay away from the busy city center or you are attending a concert at the Unipol Forum.
