Wonderful cottage in Somerset. Barry and Louise are great hosts, the environment is pretty and very quiet. The hot tub was very nice during chilly evenings, and the pool was amazing when temperatures hit record values. Amazing place to be!

The water pressure was quite low sometimes.

We think the accommodation was exceptional! Loved the hot tub, pool, cinema room and games room! The owners communication was second to none We will be returning and will be looking to stay in one of the lodges next time

Kitchen was on the smaller side

Nicely kitted out with most things you would need for a stay. View was beautiful with guaranteed deer sightings in the field every day. Lodge was warm, clean, comfortable and roomy. I stayed for work but this would be a lovely place to bring children and stay in one of the larger lodges. Lots of facilities to entertain young and old kids. Looked like there were some nice woodland walks close by too.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss. Fine if you’re holidaying and getting away from it all though. Pack oil, salt and pepper etc if you’re planning to cook as it wasn’t included. Tea, coffee and milk were supplied though which was nice.

Nice and peaceful, lovely location. Comfortable bed.

We didn’t use the hot tub as it wasn’t very clean. It was full of dirt/grit in sitting area. The pool was out of action due to a water board issue that pumped mud into the pool. The kitchen was very small, only room for one person. Unusual to find no shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and just 1 toilet roll.
