Boho Loft in Somerset - Private Parking

Nice flat, very light, very spacious, and with a well-equipped kitchen.

We were a family of 4, so we used the sofa. The mattress of this sofa wasn't as comfy as the bed but it was OK for a short stay.

Das Appartement selbst ist gut und modern ausgestattet und eigentlich gemütlich, das Schlafzimmer ist sehr schön auch das große Wohnzimmer ist gebrauchsmäßig ausgestattet. Große Duschkabine im Bad.

Die Lage oberhalb eines Pubs mit Zugang und Parken am Hinterhof (viel Müll und Gestank über eine "Feuertreppe") war nicht so toll. Lärm vom Pub, Hauptzugang sehr unschön schmutzig, parken genau neben den stinkenden Mülltonnen. Die "Terrasse" auf der Nordseite soweit ok, unbequeme Sitzmöbel, Aussicht auf die Hauptstraße im Ort. Der Ort generell ist nicht besonders ansprechend. Die zusätzliche Schlafcouch war am Rahmen gebrochen, auch der Lattenrost war defekt und somit eher unbequem darauf zu schlafen. Als Couch war sie ok von der Bequemlichkeit aber im ausgezogenen Zustand nicht so besonders toll. Die Stühle am Esstisch wackeln alle. Der Kühlschrank und der Bereich davor hat sehr unangenehm nach Katzenpisse oder ähnlichem gerochen, auch das nach Beschwerde bereitgestellte Reinigungsmittel hat leider nicht geholfen, somit hat die gesamte Küche arg gestunken.

Great size, very nicely decorated and clean. Kitchen contained all you need for self-catering (cutlery, pans etc.) plus the few things we needed in the morning (tea, coffee, milk sachets and some biscuits). Very big shower. Clearly labelled parking space.

Located above a pub, noisy. Since it was a warm evening/night we had to open windows and it was a Friday - this might not be an issue with closed windows and/or weekdays.

A good-sized living room and bedroom, with a small Christmas tree to give a festive feel. Everything clean and tidy, with all the basics required. Fairly close to shops, although it's a busy road to walk down

The apartment is accessible only by a steel staircase, which might not suit people with disabilities. The abundant plastic flowers were not to our taste, but more importantly the apartment was COLD. There are only two radiators, one for the large living room (which has no door) and one in the bedroom. There is no heating in the bathroom and so no way of drying towels. It took 5 hours after our arrival for the apartment to feel tolerably warm. Perhaps the heating could be put on before guests arrive on cold nights, it would feel so much more welcoming. The shower is large and pleasant, but the water delivery system is erratic. The eco setting gave a weak, lukewarm spray and when we were tempted to try the higher setting, it alternated between very hot and very cold. Another issue was noise. The pub is noisy. The boom boom boom of the music on the Friday night permeated our bedroom and a revving motorbike well after midnight kept us awake - as it must also have irritated neighbouring residents
