建物は古そうでしたが、部屋の中はとても清潔に保たれていました。壁にはアニメを模した紙のデコレーションがあり、好きな人には親しみが感じられるかも。 キッチンと浴室のお湯は給湯器から直ぐに瞬間湯沸かしで直ぐに出てきました。シャワーは水圧が強く、使い心地が良かったです。 建屋のすぐ隣りはコンビニやファミレスがあり、食事にも困りませんでした。

施設そのものは悪くありませんが、近くが交差点のため、夜の静かな時間帯には信号機の音声や、近くを通る電車の音が聞こえました。音に敏感な方には注意点かもしれません。建物の1階玄関は施錠システムがあっても施錠はされず、開錠されたままなのが少し気になりました。

The apartment itself was fine. Clean, comfortable, not too far from the station. Good value.

Vague directions, unhelpful management: Phoning to request early check-in, we got an answering machine & requested a callback that never came. Emailed them via Booking.com: no reply. They sent a form tho, demanding all the exact same info they get from Booking.com. Check-in & check-out dates & times, name, address, nationality, even profession — all required fields — plus a scan of my passport. Ok, Japanese law requires the passport, but everything else was available from Booking.com. We were told "We use smart locks . . . We will send you the password in advance." Then they emailed that they were having “an issue” with the digital combination lock on our apartment & giving us a code to get the spare key “from the key box located near the water pipe outside the building.” Arriving at the property we found a truck parked in the driveway close to the wall. Walking past it to the rear of the building, we hunted for the “key box” near a “water pipe’. Only we couldn’t find any such thing. No key box. Not even any water pipe. My wife phoned & they promised to come to the building around 1500, leaving us with an hour to kill at a nearby Gusto. When we returned, a middle-aged woman who spoke no English & very little Japanese led us to the driveway where the truck had been backed up a meter or so. She showed us, more by gestures than speech, what looked like half a dozen combination padlocks locked to a brace on a vertical pipe that had previously been hidden by the truck. These weren't at all the wall-mounted lock box we’d been expecting but, had we been able to see them, we’d probably have worked it out for ourselves. Each of these devices (we later learned, they are in fact called “key lock boxes”) had an apartment number affixed. We found #302, dialed the combination & the shackle released, opening the compartment holding the key. By time we got inside to drop our luggage tho, the afternoon was pretty much wasted.
