Le Studio Sainte Claire

Everything about this apartment was great. The location was amazing. The host, Maxime, was very attentive and communicative. Check in was very easy with a building entry code and then a lock box for the apartment key. The place was spotless when I arrived - and there were even some treats left as a welcome gift! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom (with a shower and tub) was great. I was there during a heat wave/cancicule but because the building has thick medieval walls the apartment stayed reasonably cool. And there is a fan with a misting function that was a real godsend. I'm very sensitive to the heat but I was totally fine in this apartment with those walls and that fan. I'm in Annecy every year and hope to make staying here my norm.

These weren't negatives for me but people should be aware the apartment is on the first floor (2nd floor to Americans) and no elevator. Getting heavy luggage up the stairs could be difficult for some. The location is on a lively street so there was some street noise when the windows were open but it didn't bother me.

Amazing location right in the middle of old town surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Super clean flat with everything you’ll need. The host was extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed!

Location, location, location! Also, it was very easy to check in, even though we had a late train. There was a self-check-in to get the key. The owner was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage in his shop while we walked around before our train left on the last day. Overall, a wonderful experience. Very well suited. Some people have commented on the bed, but we found it very comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed.

We left everything, hence the 10 out of 10.

Le lit n’est pas du tout confortable, les rideaux ne sont pas assez larges pour les fenêtres, les fenêtres sont très vieilles et très mal isolée phoniquement.
