Lusso e panorama senza paragoni, Loft Trastevere

Note: I haven’t stayed in Rome before so I have nothing to compare this to. The communication was very good. If you want to be located amongst all the action and lively atmosphere then this is a great location. It is not a quiet area, you are surrounded by music, bars, great restaurants, night life. It is a short stroll away to cross the foot bridge. There is plenty of space in this apartment, but the bedrooms are on the small side and the downstairs bathroom is very small. However, having two bathrooms was great. There are two living rooms each with their own pull out sofa bed, so a family with three kids could all have their own bed but the sofa bed by the kitchen table wasn’t comfortable for a heavy person as you could feel the springs. The upstairs mezzanine was good for extra space. It was very handy having a washing machine in its own little laundry room and there was a clothes horse. The upstairs shower has a great rain head with great water pressure. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable. It’s good having the extra alcove in the upstairs bedroom to put your suitcases in.

If you have a heavy suitcase you will need to be very strong to get it up the narrow steep stairway to the top floor. The downstairs shower doesn’t drain quickly so you may need to turn it off halfway through for a minute or two. The upstairs shower needs some tiles fixing. The little outside terrace would have been nicer if there was an umbrella (there was a stand for it under the table). And maybe remove the dead plant pot, not visually appealing when you’re on holiday.
