L'antica casa sui lungarni di Pisa

Elisa was very helpful. She provided lots of information and was very friendly. The apartment was clean and beautiful, with windows overlooking the Arno.

The location was excellent, close to restaurants, the promenade, the main street, the central station, and the park. The host was very friendly and helpful (every morning we had a warm coffee). The bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We were especially impressed by the interior of the apartment. It is located in a beautiful historic building with high ceilings and decorative doors, which gave it a lot of character. The elevator takes you directly to the room, which was very convenient. The view of the river from the kitchen is nice. The apartment has a lot of character and feels much more special than a standard hotel room. The combination of the historic architecture, excellent location, and friendly host made our stay very enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful riverside promenade just across the street. In the evenings, there were often live music performances and various events, making it a lovely place for a stroll and to experience the local atmosphere.

The bathroom could be better equipped. There was no proper hook for hanging towels, and the only one available kept falling off. A floor cloth or mat would also have been useful. The sink itself was fine, but the long faucet caused water to splash around quite easily during use. The room is suitable for a short stay of a few days, but storage space is limited for longer visits. The wardrobe is a beautiful antique piece, but it does not have shelves, making it difficult to organize clothes and personal belongings. The kitchen access was limited to the morning hours, which was not clearly communicated in advance. Since we had our own shelf in the refrigerator, we assumed the kitchen would be available throughout the day.

The location of the property is perfect for exploring Pisa and beyond as it is only a short walk to the train station. Our host provided us with an access to the property information ahead of our arrival and also recommended places to visit for food and drink. It was very easy to find and access the property despite us arriving in late evening. In fact it was about 25 minutes pleasant and easy walk from the airport. Our bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and bedside lamps. The bathroom was super clean and working very well. The outside area felt completely safe to walk around at any point of the day and night with a good selection of restaurants and bars to chose from. It was not far to a supermarket. The kitchen of the property is well equipped and it is possible to prepare light meals and hot drinks there.

We had a kettle in our bedroom but it did not heat the water properly so we had to use the kitchen instead. It can be noisy at times when there is an event at the Leningrad Cafe that is very close to the property or people are using the street for motorbiking. We were slightly confused with whether we had the whole apartment to ourselves or just the bedroom. The food in the fridge and other personal belongings suggested that we should expect the owners to come in at any time which made us a bit alerted every time we heard a noise in the building. In the end no one came and we had the place to ourselves but we weren't sure whether that was the arrangement during our stay there.

Sfortuna o fortuna vuole che il giorno prima io abbia soggiornato al San Raineri, pertanto i difetti della struttura mi sono pesati maggiormente. Nelle foto su booking pareva fosse una struttura con più camere e l'uso cucina in comune, invece appena arrivata, mi è stato detto dall'host che "non si affittava l'intero appartamento", pertanto potevo usufruire solo della camera e del bagno privato, non capisco quindi le foto sul sito degli altri spazi. La tassa di soggiorno mi è stata chiesta sia da booking che dall'host. Per aggiungere mio marito, che era stato dimesso dall'ospedale il secondo giorno di pemanenza, mi sono stati chiesti altri € 25,00 seppur la camera fosse la medesima, senza alcun servizio in più, se non degli asciugamani. Ho pagato per due notti € 190,94 più € 25,00 per mio marito come da foto che allego. La pulizia lasciava a desiderare. La posizione resta ottima.
