Overall, the property and house are not bad although the pictures are misleading. For example, the cabin is not secluded as it seems, there are rentals all around the lake. The pool is smaller than it seems in the pictures and the chemicals were off/only one pump was working so it was murky but usable for us (and it was nice to have when it was in the 90s).The pool table is not standard size, is stained and the foosball table, well, let just say both had seen better days. The water pressure in the house is not good so showering became a bit of running joke for us. There are several things throughout the house & outside that have clearly been "fixed" by a bit of rigging or "good enough" approach. In the end, if you're looking for perfection or are high strung, this isn't the place. if you're more laid back, go with the flow kinda folks, this is a good place to stay! It is close to everything without being in the mix of things. Does have a pretty view and there are fish in the lake if that's your thing. The management company was easy to work with. We simply reported all of the big things that were not working (e.g. ice maker, hot tub) and while they offered to address them, we declined (we're more the go with the flow folks). Would I stay here again, yes. Especially now I know what to expect but coming in for the first time, it was a bit disappointing. That all being said, we enjoyed our stay

The basement bedroom had 1.5-2 inches of water from Monday on. We had to have maintenance come out 2 times, a 3rd was requested but no one ever showed up, to clean up the water. A plumber was also sent out during our stay. We were told of a leak somewhere on the property 5 minutes before we checked in and that a plumber would come on Monday. The plumber never showed, and the problem just kept getting worse. Both times that maintenance came out we had to wait about 2 hours for them to come because we had to let them in. Other than the water issue, the cabin was out dated, but still nice. The only other problem issue that we had was that the water for the cabin was sulfur water so it had a smell. Nothing bad, just a preference

PROS:*convenient location*good communicationCONS:*advertised as having two queen beds in the loft but there was only one. So three of the beds are pull out sofa beds, one of which was not sleepable. The mattress was only springs Had ZERO cushion I’m really glad we didn’t have 12 people as it falsely advertised it could sleep. *advertised as 4 bathroom. Please note that one of the bathrooms is outside. We didn’t even see it so thought there were only three. I can’t imagine what it was like considering the outside was not maintained real well. The nicest bathroom had an unusable shower because it smelled like rotten eggs. Looking back at the reviews this has been a problem for awhile. Guess they don’t intend to fix it…? The main floor master bathroom was so tiny and so awkward. Very poorly designed. And the shower had almost no pressure. Very hard to even rinse the soap off.*in my personal opinion, too many Knick knacks and decorations. I had to move things off the counter to even make room to use the counters more efficiently. Visitors don’t need so much stuff to make them feel welcome. In fact, less is more in this department. *another pet peeve is no real nightstands beside the master bed due to the tightness of the room. Just these little triangles nailed into the corners. So small, almost useless. And outlets were not very close to use for phone charging by the bed. That is just a personal issue, others might not find it annoying.

Overall our experience was great. We definitely were not prepared for the hill to get down to the cabin. It took us a few times past it to find the road and when we did it was scary. Sadly the hot water to the Jacuzzi in the master bathroom did not work. The hot tub outside is nice but because it is well water we could not stand the smell so we only used it once. The cabin has a beautiful view of the mountains and is really nice overall. Just a few minor issues but overall we enjoyed our stay.
