Musician/Artist ranchito with nature views and close to town

You get a great quiet place near amenities with beautiful surroundings. The place has a wide variety of instruments if you don't bring one of your own (leave your vibraphone at home, there's one onsite). Extremely comfortable and plenty of room for 4 adults. Record player with nice music selection, VHS player with lots of movies, for when you're indoors.Kitchen was complete with everything needed to cook and prepare meals, minus a microwave, but full stove. Outdoor seating areas meant plenty of opportuny to take in the evening stars and daytime desert scenery.Beds were not as comfortable as home, but overall usable and clean, if a bit stiff. A bit more storage for personal belongings and clothing would be helpful, good if you travel light. A fantastic place! Highly recommend this place for visiting 29 Palms, Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree areas.

We had an awesome experience staying and recording some music here. It's a comfy, old-school property with unique instruments and a great record collection. Very private but not far from restaurants, the farmer's market, Pioneertown, etc. Beds were comfy and house was clean!

Such a cool place. Just the right vibes for our small group of friends. I just wish the beds were comfortable. Creaky and worm out in one room and the other bed was very hard.

Place was dirty, kitchen is under-supplied but location is invaluable. Second toilet could not be flushed using toilet paper. Floors were filthy and broken chips left on floor of kitchen. Stay if you value access to Joshua Tree National Park
