About this house rental
New ModHaus: a 1962 ranch home in Yucca Valley. This 3 bedroom / 2 bath home sits on acre and expertly blends mid-century design with modern comforts. Featuring a New hot tub, cowboy pool, New fire pit, and outdoor dining area. The perfect place for a family or group of up to 6 friends to explore Joshua Tree National Park during the days or hang at home in the evening listening to vinyl records by the fireplace. Quirky, cute, and oh-so comfortable.
The space
This recently updated home is located on an acre lot just a minute or two from the main highway. Modhaus features two remodeled bathrooms with plush towels and three comfy bedrooms -- two containing king-sized beds and the third with a queen -- all outfitted with plush memory foam mattresses and lush bedding.
Kick back on an ultra-comfy oversized couch and darling seating nook in the living room by the wood-burning fireplace. Stream a movie on the smart TV, listen to crackling vinyl on the record player, or play a nostalgic board game with family and friends.
Enjoy your morning coffee in the classic dining nook or adjacent breakfast bar, and make memories and meals in the retro-styled kitchen -- fully equipped with all of the appliances and cookware you'll need to whip up meals at home.
Step out back and lay in the sun on our oversized lounger, gather around the wood burning fire pit, dine together at the outdoor dining table for six, or enjoy the starry desert night sky and twinkling city lights from the comfort of our stock tank pool. Or watch the sunset turn into city lights in our hot tub. While your dogs run around in the fully fenced in backyard.
Located on a dirt road less than 5 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants, 10 minutes to Pioneertown or downtown Joshua Tree, and 15 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park.

We loved our stay at this house! First of all it was super clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the mint -colored refrigerator was adorable! The beds were really comfortable. We loved the backyard! It had great views and was really big. We spent time in the fire pit area-we've never seen a fire pit like this one before. This alone is a reason to book this house! There's a spa and an outdoor shower, also. The hosts communicated quickly with us when we asked a few questions about the area around us. Because of them, we were able to find good restaurants and shopping. We were really close to Pioneertown and Joshua Tree National Park. I highly recommend staying here!
