Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Check in, communication, location all were fantastic. Everything was as described and self-explanatory. The golf cart was clutch in getting around. We had some issues with the property's cleanliness though. Floors were turning feet and white socks dark grey/black, we found a used contact lens on the floor in a common area (not tucked away behind something), there were hairballs (that weren't ours) in the master shower...kind of gross. We let the management company know and to their credit, replied quickly, sent a cleaning team back out...however, despite them steam mopping the floors a second time, the floors continued to discolor feet/socks and the hair in the shower wasn't picked up even though we pointed those things out specifically. After a small water spill, a single swipe with a paper towel across the floor and the towel was black. The coffee pot was beyond gross. Grounds in the water reservoir, overflowed in the filter cradle...so our morning coffee was gritty until I dismantled it and attempted to clean it the best I could. We did let the management company know the second time, where they replied with proof the cleaning crew was back out. I trust they were, there just wasn't a difference. Had it not been for the property's cleanliness, this would likely be 5-stars across the board, but having stayed at multiple places along 30A, this one just missed the mark. Maybe we were unlucky the week we were there, because everything else at the property was great.
