Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS***
We welcome well trained non-shedding dogs to stay in this home. If traveling with a pet, please note that a non-refundable pet fee will be added after booking. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00. ADDITIONAL PET FEE APPLIES & IS COLLECTED AFTER BOOKING IS MADE. This includes emotional support animals.

Great house for a big group.Only thing i would add is a pantry. I'm a clean freak and like things put away and not sitting on counters. Otherwise a great place!

The house and neighborhood on its own was very nice. Kitchen was nice, the beds were very comfortable, the upper and lower level washer/dryer was very convenient, and the “smart TVs” in each room were appreciated. The neighborhood was very quiet in the evening. During the day, nearby housing construction led to an increase in noise and traffic. The listing advertised the house as a 6 minute walk to the beach but it took almost that long using the provided electric golf cart. IMO, nothing but the pool is within walking distance. Upon arrival, the cart was not sufficiently charged. We attempted to use it and had to push it up some hills. Found a breaker had tripped in the house preventing charging. Management company was helpful in this regard.
The "deeded beach access" is an absolute joke. Yes, you do have a private gated entrance and boardwalk to the beach. However, once on the beach, you must walk about 500ft west before reaching the public beach. Rather than drag all of our beach stuff up/down a relatively steep and narrow beach entrance and across 500ft (or more) of sand, we chose instead, to drive the cart the additional 500ft to the public entrance and walk directly down to the beach we could actually use.
The listing shows the incorrect location of the house’s actual location. The pinpoint makes you believe the house is much closer to the beach than it actually is. The proper placement places the house almost twice as far. We only discovered this once we had committed to the rental and received the actual address of the house.
The listing states the “master bedroom enjoys a private balcony and outdoor shower”. We found no “private balcony”.
Overall, the location and environment makes for a rather low-key getaway. The beach wasn’t crowded by any means, and the community pool was comfortable too. Although the pool may become more crowded as more houses are constructed. The fact there are no restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity also keeps local traffic and crowds down. But, the golf cart can get you to The Hub within 7 minutes, Peddler’s within 10, and Old Florida Fish House within 15. Avoid the Rosemary Beach area with the cart.
