About this house rental

Centrally located on the sound near Poulsbo, Bremerton and Silverdale. About one mile from Brownsville marina where you can launch your watercraft. Beautiful primary suite on main floor with water view, comfortable king bed, bedding to die for and a great primary bathroom with soaker tub. Upstairs bedroom has even more gorgeous view of water and also a view of Mount Rainer, with comfortable queen bed, great bedding, and full bathroom. Main floor has fully equipped gourmet kitchen with Jenn Aire stove, 2 eating areas and cozy living room with propane fireplace, to enjoy movies, games and family time. Deck off the dining area to enjoy the water views. Main floor also has an additional bedroom/office with queen bed fold out couch. Walk out basement has 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed and a large family room with sectional couch and foosball table. Sauna and full laundry facilities in the basement area. Can easily sleep 10-12 people.

Very close to Brownsville marina to launch boats and other watercraft into Puget Sound. Very close to Bainbridge Island and the towns of Poulsbo, Silverdale and Bremerton for great restaurants and shopping. Easy access to the Bainbridge Island ferry and the Bremerton ferry for a short hop to downtown Seattle. Port Townsend, Sequim, and Port Angeles (ferry to Vancouver Island, Canada) are less than an hour away. The central location of the property allows for easy access to everything the Kitsap Peninsula and the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

This house was perfect for our family of 10. Everything was clean and just as described. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with lots of extras. Host was very easy to communicate with. Great location to take a ferry into Seattle or drove into Olympic Park. Highly recommend this property.

Overall we had a wonderful stay for our big extended family group. There were many positive experiences about our stay, with a few recommendations for consideration:Pros:-Nice location, easy (but long) drive to Olympic National Park and short drive to Poulsbo for a nice afternoon stroll, patios, and kayaking-Breathtaking views out of beautiful full length windows-Kitchen was well stocked with supplies as well as basic cooking ingredients and grill available-Spacious, excellent layout for adults and kids-Nice extras like sauna and treadmill, washer and dryer -Hosts were very responsive Suggestions:-Would be helpful to have some welcome information for guests (e.g., wifi, things to do in the area)-The views and patio were amazing, and it would be nice to have some more patio seating available. They did provide camp chairs but a small dining set and/or seating set would have been lovely to enjoy meals and the views outside-There were some fire pits in the yard but they looked overgrown and unusable (notSure if there was a fire ban but something that could also be covered in a welcome packet)-House was generally pretty clean but there were some towels with a mildew smell

Beautiful views from every east sided room, 5 bedrooms plenty of space for our family of 10 with confortable beds. Kitchen was well appointed for all meals. Nice grocery stores nearby and an easy drive into Poulsbo and over to Bainbridge. Would definitely stay again!

It was a wonderful time having all the family together. The host was easy to contact and acted quickly to resolve an issue we had. Wished that the fireplace worked, but it didn't take away from being together. The kitchen was great for cooking our meals and with 11 of us it was constantly in use. Thanks Paul and Ann

Very nice large house for our annual holiday get together. Kitchen extremely well stocked and we appreciated the sharp kitchen knives! Plenty of bedrooms and spaces for all 10 adults. We did have to get creative with seating everyone for dinner, but we worked it out. Hosts are very responsive to our questions, etc.

Enjoyed staying at this rental with my husband, children, grand children, and my father. We loved that we could all fit comfortably in the home. The home had all the necessary amenities, and they also allowed our fur babies! We were hoping for water access from the home, but the marina was very close. Enjoyed our stay very much.
