Sunset Beach Condo w/ Balcony, 5 Mi to the Ocean!

I loved the location it was so peaceful.

We couldn't find any towels when we arrived, looked all over. Ended up finding some in the master closet and the rest in the washing machine unwashed and stained 😳 The carpet in the condo needs to be removed as it has old stains all over it, not a good idea for a pet friendly place. The sliding door in the living room has to be opened/closed from the outside by going through the slider in the master. We also couldn't use the pool/hot tub because the jey fob wasn't working. We got in one night because someone else was there. Overall the place really needs some updates, other than that beautiful place and location!

The location was perfect for us. The size of the unit was great. I liked the balcony by the pond. The owner was quick to respond and courteous. Willing to send towels via Amazon when we couldn't find them. Willing to send "tech support" when the TVs didn't work.

It needs some updating!!! The stains on carpet and linens grossed me out. Comforter was ripped and obviously old. You shouldn't have carpet in a rental where dogs are allowed. (Marks on carpet!) I had to search for bath towels. (There were 2 good ones) how are 5 people suppose to use 2 towels? None for beach. The other 2 were ratty & stained and so were the 2 washcloths. I had to buy some for our stay! The 2 TVs didn't work! There is only a TV/dvd player in 1 bedroom- with 3 old dvds. Most outlets didn't work- had to reset breaker. Shower Door in one bathroom broken or not installed properly. The one slider in living room doesn't open to balcony. The beach chairs are old, tattered & rusty chairs, not really beach chairs. Coffee pot needed to be cleaned it had an old pod and water still in it. (Only 4 pods there for coffee.) Seal on fridge is detached & flaps when you open and shut it. Fire detector or something missing from one bedroom, wires are sticking out of ceiling. Recliner chair in living needs to be tossed. It's so old, even the cover on it is stained. We actually laid a sheet on couch before sitting because the stains kinda grossed us out. There's other stuff but I think you get the point. If attention to detail doesn't matter to you- you'll be fine.
