This place was perfect to us in so many ways. The rooms, the views, the super friendly service, fantastic food by Chef Tiago Sarmento (a REAL chef, not just one with a title he got online) at affordable prices, great wine at great prices, easy access to the river for a swim, beautiful grounds and pool, fantastic breakfast. Perfect

The location, view, facilities, restaurant, and staff were wonderful. We loved our relaxing stay. It was so quiet and the views of the river and valley were so beautiful at all times of the day. If you are interested in the history of the area or villa's site, ask the staff, they are full of wonderful stories of the area. The restaurant offers gourmet meals every night. Very delicious.

A decoração e a vista panorâmica do rio Douro;
Gostaríamos que o pequeno almoço fosse com produtos regionais (pão; queijo;enchidos;fruta e os sumos naturais); e que a ementa do jantar/almoco tivesse os pratos regionais. E salientar que a limpeza do quarto deveria incluir a toillete. A referir que os animais de estimação não deveriam estar na zona da piscina ( a lamber as água).
