Homestay Bukit Roses

Stayed here for it’s proximity (10 minutes away) to Staffield Golf Club for a golf tournament. The location is quite deep within the rural housing area, one might think they have gotten lost if it were not for the host’s clear instruction. The house was very clean, although the main door can use an upgrade for security. The snacks, instant tea and coffee mix, and bottled water sold (trust-based payment via provided QR code) in the kitchen were very helpful as we forgot to bring our own.

one of the room floor was uneven, with a significant tilt to one side but the tiles were solid. the edges of the bedframe were very prominent and pointy due to the slightly smaller mattress size, and the bed arrangement made the path between the bed snd the bathroom too narrow (we kept bumping our shins on the bedframe.. ouch).

The location was very super convenient because I was attending a wedding less than 15 minutes from the place. I'm not recommending it as a romantic place to stay simply because it offers no facilities for that purpose. However as a place to stay overnight for a specific purpose for attending an event nearby, I found the place very convenient. 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms really exceed my expectation. The only drawbacks are parking (we came in 4 cars, because 3 of my children are married and came from different location, though the number of us is only 9 persons) and the road (from the main road) to the homestay is very narrow. Other than that the homestay itself is super clean, good size with home-away-from home comfort.
