We planned a one night stay to see small village of Orvieto on way from Rome to Tuscany!

What a wonderful property. We loved every minute. The view of Orvieto from our room was incredible. The staff was always very helpful and the breakfast with eggs and bacon included was delicious.

Great facility, location, views, etc. but we simply could not sleep.

We checked out after one night. The bed was are hard as stone and the hotel responded that all of the beds were the same. So we left.

Best stay and best find

This place is beyond magic. The views of Orvieto are incredible. The gardens, pool, jacuzzi, eating areas are all out of this world. Peaceful, relaxed and very well maintained, it’s a haven close to everything by car but far enough to feel comfortably away from crowds. The staff are incredible. They went above and beyond. I was blown away by just how lovely they all are. I would 100% stay here again.

Great value for money

The property is absolutely beautiful. You can see Orvieto from the front lawn and it really is beautiful. The pool is great, the food was really good, and over all it was beautiful.

There is a gate in the entrance of the property, and we waited for about half an hour until someone arrived with a code, so talk to them before arriving to make sure someone knows you’re on the way.

Old world charm and elegance with breathtaking views

The view to the old town of Orvieto was firstly the most striking feature. It was beautiful during the day and evening- and having breakfast and dinner in the courtyard was so special with the views. The room we booked was spacious and the air conditioning worked well. The pool was lovely and staff very friendly.

The entrance from the road from Orvietto was a bit challenging with the car!

Enjoyed our stay here with picturesque views over Orvieto morning and night. It’s a nice quiet place to retreat to after a day of sightseeing. We made use of the pool as well.

Give this beautiful estate a try!

Our second visit to Orvieto but first stay here. Pietra Campana is a small estate located on a hill directly opposite Orvieto and its wonderful cathedral. This is a gorgeous property presided over by an attentive Mauricio. Our room was amazing and breakfasts are incredible. There is free private parking on site. I will forever remember Mauricio introducing me to a wonderful local white wine, Grechetto (little Greek). Highly recommend this amazing place!

We were disappointed by the locally produced home cooked three course meal. It was very expensive and just so-so. But taste is personal, right?

Beautiful Relaxing Property

The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. The view was unbelievable.

Disappointed they didn't have options for dinner each night. Only the one night they had a chef come in but I had to ask - noone informed us beforehand. Also, AFTER I booked the non-refundable rooms, the confirmation stated both the hot tub and pool would not be available for use. Not sure I would have booked it knowing this in advance.

Perfect way to get over the jet lag . Amazing experience.

The grounds were so picturesque and the property was very well maintained. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond.. Mauricio was such a legend! They accommodated our every need. If you are ever in Orvieto, this place is a must stay.

Pool should be open earlier in the season.. other than that, perfection.

Magnificent property with welcoming staff and spectacular views of Orvieto!

Spectacular views of the Orvieto Duomo and the entire town. Stunning villa and very private. Wonderful outdoor areas with seating and gardens. Room was very nice and large. Staff were welcoming and positive. Charcuterie and wine were first rate. About ten-minutes drive from the ample free parking lot by the funicular (trolley that takes you up to the level of the city for 1.30 euro).

Limited food options nearby and no bar on site. Not a big deal, as restaurants are a short drive away, just good to know in case you wish to bring some snacks/beverages.

Hillside location gave wonderful view of Orvieto across ravine; property well maintained with wonderful grounds to walk around; gated property with good parking onsite, can easily unload / load bags near room door; clean & maintained room; friendly & responsive staff; relatively quick access to Orvieto by car

Less comfortable bed; minimal breakfast choices; exiting from gate on to roadway had blind left due to curve so dangerous (need to add mirror to see traffic)

מקום מהמם עם נוף עוצר נשימה לאורבייטו, במיקום נוח קרוב לעיר. שודרגנו לחדר מקסים שהיה נקי ונעים. מאוריציו היה מאוד אדיב והפך את השהות שלנו למקסימה, והמליץ בסבלנות על מקומות לבקר בהם. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה חמודה וטעימה מאוד.

La vue sur le village d ´ Orvietto La tranquillité

La chambre pourrait être mieux équipée surtout que la surface le permettrait : pas de penderie, nous avons été obligés de demander des cintres que nous avons dû accrocher à trois crochets muraux, pas de siège en dehors d’ une seule chaise inconfortable, Il suffirait de 2 petits fauteuils ou un canapé et une petite table. Coffre fort qui ne fonctionne pas, personne à la réception pour assurer notre départ, etc…. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais pas assez de fruits frais malgré la pleine saison, les croissants sont décongelés et mal cuits. Bilan positif pour le lieu, mais l’ ensemble des prestations n’ est pas en accord avec le prix.

Ein wunderschön gelegenes Hotel, ruhig und mit tollem Blick auf Orvieto.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön und ruhig mit einem Wahnsinnsausblick auf Orvieto. Die Anlage ist stilvoll restauriert, alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Schon die Einfahrt durch das große Tor macht Freude :-) Hübscher Pool in ausreichender Größe; zusätzlicher warmer Whirlpool und auch hier: Blick auf Orvieto. Super freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, groß, schön eingerichtet, mit tollem Bad und Tür zum Garten. Das Standardzimmer der Kinder war etwas einfacher aber durch die tollen Deckenfresken auch etwas Besonderes. Reichhaltiges Frühstück, stilvoll präsentiert und die Terrasse wieder mit herrlichem Blick auf die Stadt. Leider haben wir nur eine Nacht gebucht.

Alles war perfekt. Beim Frühstück wäre eine kleine Auswahl an "echtem" Müsli oder Getreideflocken noch eine minimale Verbesserung.

Excelente localização, com uma linda vista sobre Orvieto.

Deram-nos um quarto onde era impossível impedir a luz de entrar pelas janelas logo de madrugada (janelas sem portadas nem blackouts). Foram simpáticos e deram-nos outro quarto. Mas estava muito frio e o A/C só ventilava, sem aquecer. Pequeno-almoço muito pobre (quase nenhuma fruta, sumos artificiais). Não justifica o preço, de maneira nenhuma.

“Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen – traumhafte Lage und entspannte Atmosphäre” Die Lage war hervorragend – ruhig, mit einer wunderschönen Weitsicht auf Orvieto. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen, genau der richtige Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und zu entspannen. Besonders der Platz zum Brunchen war aussergewöhnlich und einfach unvergesslich. Alles war sehr sauber und familiär geführt – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!
