Our stay in Bansko was absolutely wonderful and a complete success! Lee and Danielle are truly exceptional hosts—they are incredibly attentive and carry so much warmth and love in their hearts. They made sure we were perfectly looked after and had everything we could possibly need. A special mention must go to Danielle, who is an exceptionally talented cook; her meals were a highlight of our trip. Also, the bus transfer to and from the gondola is a fantastic and very important service that made our stay so much easier. Bansko is a place with great nature and the Chalet is a nice and cozy accommodation with some great small services.
Booking & Pricing: We originally wanted to book directly through Total Chalets, but the price Laura offered was more than 50% higher than the rate on Booking.com. Even after we pointed out this discrepancy, she wouldn't budge, which was quite disappointing
Accommodation: Prospective guests should know not to expect luxury. The room furnishings are very basic.
Dining Policy: Although we booked 'Half Board' via Booking.com, dinner is not provided two nights a week. This was unexpected given the booking status
