If you are a student and the price drops from €100 to around €30 per night, this could be acceptable

Going to Bansko for skiing is a great idea. There are many good places to eat and plenty of reliable shops where you can rent quality ski equipment. However, you should be very careful when choosing accommodation, as not all properties match their online descriptions.

Misleading listing and poor value for money We stayed here for 4 nights in mid-January. The description is misleading. Although advertised as Fully Catered, dinner is not provided on Sundays and Wednesdays, which was only mentioned in a post-booking email. The chalet is shown as 3-star online but is closer to 2-star quality (two stars are displayed at the entrance). At around €100 per night, this represents very poor value. Sauna and heated pool are located in another hotel, available only once per stay, and additional visits cost €60. Facilities are basic, Wi-Fi is unstable, the fireplace does not work, and the bathroom floods due to the lack of a proper shower enclosure. I do not recommend this property at this price.
