Catskills Country House with Hot Tub near River Trails

The place is great. The decor gives the place solid vibes, it's not commercialized like others. There's a sun room, big bathtub, comfy beds, games, sauna, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen -- just so much to enjoy in this place! And it's surrounded by the mountains and bright stars at night, making it a beautiful getaway. The host also went above and beyond and had the property manager deliver coffee filters when we couldn't find any!

The place feels neglected and could use some TLC. There's water leaks in the sun room when it rains, and the carpet has water stains. We barely got the necessary instructions for anything, such as how to access the house which was hard to find, or how to use the sauna. The water smells from sulfur and makes the tub experience less than enjoyable -- would be nice for the host to provide bubble bath or something. Some cabinets were sticky and the games were in disarray. So overall, the place has potential but is lacking a bit of care and TLC that would take it from good to great.
