Corrala en el Madrid histórico

La ubicación. Era muy cómodo. El trato del propietario muy amable y atento me dejó quedarme un ratito más que teníamos el vuelo tarde , fue muy bueno. Limpio y cómodo. Y muy silencioso para poder descansar. Nos gustó mucho . Con aire acondicionado que se agradece porque había una ola de calor .

Quizás que no tiene ascensor pero era una planta sólo. Resto todo bien.

The location is great, we loved how easy it was to get around from this spot. The value for the stay is really great as well. Having a washer, fridge and microwave came in handy. Advisement for anyone unfamiliar like us - this washing machine did not turn off on its own, you must stop it after you think its complete. I'm not sure if this is normal in other places but it is not common in America. We were glad we had stayed in while running laundry so it didn't run endlessly. Someone previously reviewed that there was nowhere to dry clothes but there is a clothesline through the building as well as a cabinet in unit with hangers.

Getting into the unit requires letting the property know you're on your way at least 30 minutes in advance and then a phone call at the front door where they will unlock for you electronically then call back again once you're at the unit and find your own set of keys inside. This felt pretty complicated and was made worse by a weird interaction with the person we talked to. I messaged that we were on our way and they did not respond so I said "Just want to make sure we will be able to get in when we arrive?" and the person responded "Hahahah! I hope so!" This was possibly a communication error due to translations but it made us feel very uneasy. The property is very bare bones but you get what you pay for. The bathroom is incredibly small. Neither of us could sit on the toilet straight because our knees hit the wall. If you want the bare necessities, are trying to travel within a budget but not stay in a hostel I would still recommend this despite its issues.
