Floré Hotel Boutique Cuenca

La habitación que elegimos fue una suit con balcón y era preciosa. Las vistas increíbles y la luz muy bonita. La ubicación perfecta, pues está pegado a la catedral de Cuenca. También nos guardaron las maletas tanto en la llegada como en la vuelta para poder disfrutar de la ciudad más cómodamente.

La cama era un poco pequeña para ser de matrimonio (para nuestro gusto, claro) y si tienes el sueño ligero no te recomiendo que cojas este tipo de habitación, el ruido de la calle se escuchaba perfectamente desde la cama, pues las ventanas son antiguas (muy bonitas, pero antiguas) y no aíslan nada. Por otro lado, utilizamos su servicio de lavandería y la ropa blanca se nos estropeó toda. No sé si fue un problema puntual y nos tocó a nosotros o si es siempre así.

Rooms with balcony. I was very specific trying to find a property with a balcony and Floré Hotel Boutique delivered. The room was very spacious and close by the central area of Cuenca. Staff were friendly and ready to help to make my trip seamless.

The hotel is located is right in the middle of the downtown across from the flower market, the famous church, 7 min walk from the Sombrero museum, 5 min from the riverbank. I stayed for 4 days, so I got to know the front desk people. I speak very few words in Spanish, but I got lucky that Alexander, a front desk receptionists spoke fluent Russian and helped me to get info about a reliable inter-city bus service and other info about the local services. The hotel has a feel of a fancy 1800s building.

The location is great, the hotel staff is very friendly.

If you want to sleep past 06:30, I recommend staying somewhere else. The church bells are very loud here and the windows/balcony doors are not sealed shut so noise easily enters the room.
