EPIC Luxury Penthouse Collection - Liverpool City Centre

The apartment we were allocated (number 9) was huge & covered 3 floors. It has everything you needed for a 3 night stay & was perfectly located for a wedding we were attending at Liverpool Town Hall. It was also perfect to get ready on the wedding morning with so many individual make up tables/mirrors ! We struggled to get the TV in the massive living room switched on however once reported to housekeeping via the booking.com messages, this was quickly rectified 😃

The property backs on to a lane behind restaurants which meant that bottles were frequently thrown into the outside wheelie bins, which was very noisy. Also the bin wagons came down this street during the night so light sleepers were woken up. Obviously out of the control of the apartments themselves but valid if you are staying. There are also very big air conditioning funnels on the restaurant next door which are noisy.

It’s beautiful, complete luxury.

Unfortunately there was a constant loud noise coming from what sounded like a generator.

The location was great, plenty of bars and restaurants around the vicinity, something for everyone

The lift only fits two at a time, a lot of stairs once we got in to the property its self, the courtyard was great and we met some of the other guests would have been nice to maybe have some tables and chairs to sit with other users

Property is central, and not a far walk to any of the city attractions. It’s quick and easy to get in and out.

The apartment feels dirty and unclean, and does not reflect 5* as advertised. - Carpets were dirty and covered in stains - including the sofa. - Lots of makeup marks on the walls with scuffing. The table was smashed and had been glued back together with what looked like Polly filler. - Lots of dents and marks in the walls. - Windows are so dirty you cannot see out of them. - Bathroom filled with mould, and sinks that do not drain and smell awful. - Every room has very bright fire escape lights which filled the room, and made it extremely difficult to sleep. - We stripped the beds as courtesy before leaving, to discover what looked like urine stains on the mattress. We were staying as a group and paid more for 5 star ‘luxurious’ apartment, but definitely is did not receive that quality. Which is quite disappointing.
