Location was great and a nice walk to Albert Docks. Size, was perfect for what we needed, lovely to all be together in a good sized property. Parking reasonable. Good bar very close by with nice food and fantastic, reasonable portions . Comfy beds and lovely Toiletries. Great to have all en suite rooms. Host responded well to queries. Thank you!
No terrestrial tv which meant we couldn't watch the England match. TV cable needed locating as previous guests had moved it. Fridge a bit small for a large party. Very hot when in the heat of the sun. More fans would be useful. Bar were unsure of the discount code we were offered.

The Barge is a unique stay , allowing for a large group to be together and to have a great space to just hangout.
The bedrooms were all big enough, with 8 staying we had no more than 2 in each room . The lounge and kitchen area was large enough for us to spend time together which made the weekend .
This is an old houseboat so don’t expect perfection. It’s been furnished to a good standard and there are some lived in dints and bumps ,if you go looking ,so if you want a generic hotel room standard then book a hotel.
If you’re looking for a large space to accommodate 8plus people that has separate rooms each with a shower and within walking distance to town then this is your place.The location for bongos bingo was absolutely perfect.
The host couldn’t do enough, communication was great , really responsive when we couldn’t get the hot water working she came within 15 mins Very flexible with check in and out .
As a large group we do like to cook and drink , which we could do but there was an mis match of plates and mugs and glasses . It would benefit from a bit of an overhaul of crockery and glass wear that exceeds the guests staying.

A real gem, super friendly staff, comfortable and lovely to be on the water. Perfect for a large group with so many en suite rooms and the marina restaurant close by
