Kings Arms Hotel

Quint little pub, staff are very helpful, the room was clean and tidy, but very small for two single beds, overall a nice and pleasant stay.

Room was very small

Sandwich is a compact town and the Kings Arms was a short way from the centre, 2 minutes walk. The landlord welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The room was large and airy, with a high ceiling which helped immensely in keeping the room cool overnight (temperatures being in the mid 20's). The room had all that we needed, generous supply of tea and coffee, a small but excellent shower and an extremely comfortable bed. And the pub stocked 2 excellent real ales, the garden and car aprk were both a good size. There was music by a very talented trio playing lovely old classics at a level where we could still talk.

In an ideal world there would have been air-conditioning, but really, its only due to the very hot summer we are having so thats hardly an issue and as I said the high ceiling helped to keep the temperature comfortable for sleeping.

Nice pub, well situated for the town. Comfortable room, all very good!

The room was small, the carpet had t been hoovered properly, a light bulb was out, the kettle was faulty had to turn it off manually, the pillows were flat and the toilet was on a sloop in the bathroom
