Homely Stay - Urban Oasis Apartments

It is spacious, well equipped, and convenient to visit München and surroundings, also to be close to the airport. Beds are comfy, and their web has a lot of detailed info and good check in instructions.

The apartment is dated, with several defects/malfunctions that are not severe but should be warned about, particularly since you need to provide a 200€ card deposit to check in. The fridge door was unfitted, as shown in my picture, as well as one of the windows. The walls and some appliances show some minor visual defects as well. I needed to document these to make sure they would get the deposit back. Communication has been scarce. It's a 2nd floor without lift, not ideal. The street parking is farther away than it seems, but nothing major. It is warm in summer so you need to keep the window open at night, and it is quite noisy since it is next to the road. It is Ok with earplugs but be warned. Many mosquitoes also so bring repellant or similar.

Apartment is a good size for a family (we had 5 people). It is located in a nice little town outside of the bustle of Munich. In fact, it turned out to be central to all the daytrips that we decided to do in Germany. There are grocery stores, gas stations, and pharmacies nearby in the town. There's a horse path along the nearby river which you can use for biking or walking/jogging. There was free parking about 3 minutes walking time away which we took advantage of. No problems loading/unloading in front of the apartment for short periods of time. The host had good communication when necessary.

Lockbox mechanism sticky, may need repair/replacement soon. I knew it didn't have a clothes washer before making the booking, but this apartment would be even more convenient if it had even a 5kg washer. For family stays, it's essential. We ended up going to the laundromat in Freising about 20 minutes away--Not so much a negative, but just something that would really set it apart from other places.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem alten und nicht sehr gepflegten Wohnhaus. Unmittelbare Umgebung nicht toll. Unmittelbar an stark befahrener Straße, Gragenhof und alten Häusern. Schimmel im Bad. Gurtband vom Rolladen gerissen und an der Heizung befestigt.
