Unique location, very peaceful and unspoilt. The bed was very comfortable and the shower spot on considering we were in a treehouse! The internal finish was lovely and it was a beautifully cosy and welcoming space on an autumn night with the wind and rain outside.
It would have been good to understand the distance between where we parked the car and the treehouse itself. We managed to carry our luggage and food up the steep track (in the rain) but for someone a little older it might have been tricky. The photos suggested it might have been a little more spacious but it really didn’t matter although a shelf for food might be useful. Don’t let either of these things put you off staying here but just mentioning as it’s good to know in advance.

A novelty place to stay which could be a bit challenging in bad weather. Clean and comfortable.
Host was a little brusque to start with - apparently I knocked on the wrong door! Access could be difficult if wet weather and luggage to carry.

Fantastic directions. It was quiet with great views from the garden. Very comfortable and clean inside. Very good quality of furnishings and bedding. Lovely walk to Salcombe.
On arrival I noted the outside areas were tired and messy. Looks like it hadn’t been cleared all winter. The steps were unstable with one of them having rotted along the path down to the house. Hosts slow to respond when I needed to ask something so was unable to cook on the hob.
