A unique experience which we thoroughly enjoyed!

Unique location, very peaceful and unspoilt. The bed was very comfortable and the shower spot on considering we were in a treehouse! The internal finish was lovely and it was a beautifully cosy and welcoming space on an autumn night with the wind and rain outside.

It would have been good to understand the distance between where we parked the car and the treehouse itself. We managed to carry our luggage and food up the steep track (in the rain) but for someone a little older it might have been tricky. The photos suggested it might have been a little more spacious but it really didn’t matter although a shelf for food might be useful. Don’t let either of these things put you off staying here but just mentioning as it’s good to know in advance.

Novelty stay in a lovely town. A little bit hard to find the location.

A novelty place to stay which could be a bit challenging in bad weather. Clean and comfortable.

Host was a little brusque to start with - apparently I knocked on the wrong door! Access could be difficult if wet weather and luggage to carry.

Romantic and well appointed getaway

Serenely located and appointed, this novel accommodation is a beautiful place to stay. Very nicely and tastefully fitted out, and with a quiet, secluded garden, it's a romantic place to stay, and just a 20 minute walk into the heart of Salcombe.

It's a bit on the small side, but this didn't bother us. We found it cosy and comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay stay we loved waking up every morning to the sounds of the wildlife trying to work what birds and animals we could hear every morning. Lovely spot. We will be back .

It was spotlessly clean, very cosy and not far to walk to Salcombe and a lovely experience. We would definitely stay there again.

Great experience and enjoyed the stay. Needs some TLC outside though.

Fantastic directions. It was quiet with great views from the garden. Very comfortable and clean inside. Very good quality of furnishings and bedding. Lovely walk to Salcombe.

On arrival I noted the outside areas were tired and messy. Looks like it hadn’t been cleared all winter. The steps were unstable with one of them having rotted along the path down to the house. Hosts slow to respond when I needed to ask something so was unable to cook on the hob.

Enchanting in its own way

On arrival we did feel a little disappointed. The treehouse didn’t look anywhere near as large as the photos. It was however very warm and comfortable. We had a lovely stay for my 60th birthday. Slept really well. Once the dark set in, the treehouse was enchanting. The stars were shining and it was so peaceful.

On arrival there seemed to be an awful lot of rules and regulations and extra charges that may be incurred for stains on the towels, breakages and where rubbish should be put. The entrance/exit to property needs to be improved as upon leaving it was raining and The grass was very slippy. Trying to shut the gate I slipped on the mud and nearly fell.
