Luxury Modern Costal Escape & Pool

Fab little base for exploring, drove to St Erth Station, parked our car then jumped on the train £8.40 for all 4 adults to use all day to St Ives and Carbis Bay. Everything we needed was in the property, bathroom and toilet upstairs, shower and toilet downstairs 👍 Clean, plenty of towels and toilet roll ( we bought our own just in case 😁) Lots of sockets, including USB , we had no problems with the WiFi, and parking was pretty close and ample. We will be back again.. and try not to get sun burnt 🔥🙈

The communication prior to and during the stay was excellent. The accommodation was very well equipped, clean and decorated to a high standard. The grounds of the resort were exceptionally well kept.

It would have been good to have an enclosed space to let the dog out for toilet breaks rather than having to go out on a lead in the middle of the night! Also, the John Fowler facilities on site were a bit tired and the staff less than enthusiatic. Their app shows entertainment and restaurant, but neither of these existed.

Clean with three ok size bedrooms

Lack of toilet rolls and I didn’t notice on booking that there wasn’t a dishwasher but not the owner’s fault. Bathroom locks require attention

Lovely surroundings. The holiday home appeared to have been newly decorated. It was very fresh and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There is a fridge with a freezer compartment (but no separate freezer). Plenty of storage space and comfortable living space. Feels safe and tranquil. We couldn't park outside the accommodation but there was plenty of space about 20/30 meters away. It's a privately owned unit on a holiday park, which is nicely laid out and attractive. It was great having a shower room and a bathroom.

A little far from the nearest village. We couldn't walk in because the roads had no pavements so it would have been dangerous. We paid about £11 each way in a taxi to go to the Angarrack Inn which was about 3 miles away. You need a code for the key box that we didn't receive, so we thought we needed to collect the key from reception which led to some confusion. Luckily, the host picked up his phone straight away, so he could give us the code when we asked. I stayed with 2 friends and all of us thought we would get stuck in the bathrooms because the locks were a bit stiff. Don't lock them unless you have to!
