Noisy outside at night

The terrace was a deal breaker, loved it. The location fabulous, if noisy in the evening, but that wasn't the properties fault, due to the apartment being in the centre, and in the middle of club land

Facilities were basic, but enough for us.

Location and roof top patio

I booked this apartment for my brother and I. The listing said there was a double bed and a sofa bed. When I asked in advance if we could have the linen for the sofa bed I was told we would be charged 25 euro per night for this ‘service’. When I reminded them that I was not adding an additional guest and the sofa bed was part of the listing they said the double bed was for two people—I told them I didn’t want to share a bed with my brother and it wasn’t for them to dictate the sleeping arrangements at if their guests. They didn’t provide a resolution and we had to use one sheet for the bed and one blanket for the sofa bed. The air conditioner does not have a mechanism to empty its condensation so every 4 hours or so you are expected to empty a plastic jug of water otherwise it will spill all over the floor. The Wifi didn’t work and the staff made me feel like it was my fault for not knowing how to operate it which was not true. They offered to have a service man come and fix it—but we didn’t want to have our stay disrupted so said no thank you. They didn’t offer us any compensation. The apartment is smaller and more rustic than it appears in the photos. The staff make you feel like they don’t trust their guests and want to charge you for anything they can find an excuse for. In addition, the apartment is located in the middle of the bar district so it is very loud with people screaming in the streets until about 3:00 in the morning. Earplugs were provided.
