Chanoka - Tea Aroma Inn 農家民宿茶の香

We really enjoyed our stay at Chanoka Tea Aroma Inn. Jordan and his wife were excellent hosts. Jordan very kindly picked us up and dropped us to the station and local onsen. The highlight of the stay was the dinner and breakfast Jordan and his wife cooked. They had clearly put a lot of time and attention into the food and each dish was unique and tasty. We really appreciated Jordan taking us through how each dish was made and it was by far the best meal of our trip. The location was beautiful with a view of the misty mountains in the morning and a starry sky at night. There was next to no light or noise pollution, only the sound of crickets. The room was put together nicely and beds were very comfortable. It was probably the best sleep I had in the two weeks we were in Japan. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We also unexpectedly came away knowing a bit more about green tea (Jordan, at your recommendation we tried and enjoyed Hoojicha tea while is Tokyo) and Japanese bees (If you stay here, make sure to try their honey). 虽然不靠近在徒步路线上，但负责接送，非常方便，也是和徒步无缝连接的。家庭餐非常好吃，堪比米其林。如果你选择了他家，务必也选择他们的套餐，你不会失望的。房东推荐的温泉馆也非常赞，价廉物美，一次只要1000日元。我会把他家介绍给所有想来熊野古道徒步的人。

Very helpful and lovely hosts, clean and comfy rooms, good location in beautiful scenery, and the food is a Michelin level fine dining experience that is alone worth more than the cost per night.

宿主様のおもてなしの心が素晴らしく、朝食も自家野菜を中心に心のこもった品々が並び美味しくいただきました。

最低限のアメニティは揃っているもの、畳などは古いし、湿気の籠った匂いが気になりました。エアコンの匂いも臭かったです。 Wi-Fiがあったけど電波が悪くてスマホが繋がりにくいし、せめてTVがあればなぁと思いました。
