Good quality flat but no information on how machines etc and the local area as well as no free travel pass given

No brochures of area No manuals on how to use tv, coffee machine or dishwasher. Tv only had Netflix no other channels!!!! Owner had no idea about the tourists mobility passes for free travel on bus/ train etc. He said he would apply for us no pass came so we paid a large amount of money on transport costs. Question do you actually ever check out what the accommodation offers their quests!!!!!!?
