Everything so far has been very good. The location is superb Gyumon Ramen is just opposite the hotel, there is a 7Eleven nearby, and plenty of halal food options in the area. The hotel is about a 9 minutes walk to Asakusa Station, which may feel a bit far, but the pleasant weather made it manageable. As a Malaysian, I find this place ideal and would highly recommend it. It would be even better if the hotel could provide an iron.

There are four of us (2 adults and 2 children), so the room includes a sofa bed. However, after opening the sofa bed, there is very little space left to walk.

Location and facitlity

The nearest metro is about 10 mins walk, which is just about ok. It was easy enough to find and to access. It felt safe enough - but it's Japan, so everywhere is. The appliances worked - inc the washing machine - and the wifi was good. There's a 7-eleven on the corner, which is handy. It was quiet, no disturbances.

- I'm used to wide-angle photos for hotels, but even so this was smaller than I was expecting. It was dark and gloomy, and there was no nice lighting - the ceiling lights dim but you couldn't create a pleasant ambience. - The kitchen and bathroom areas are very cramped, and there's a towel hook in the bathroom in such a stupid place that I frequently bashed my elbow on it. - It has large old-fashioned gas cooking hobs - which surely nobody ever uses - and yet nowhere to put washed dishes to drain. Also you have to constantly mind your head from the pointless extractor fan over the cooker. - There were no drinking glasses, and if I remember correctly, no tea-towels either. - The aircon did work but I wasn't able to get it to give a nice powerful blast of cool air. - The view is rather drab, although I could at least see the top of the Skytree (from the 3rd floor, or 2nd as it would be in UK) thru the gap between 2 buildings opposite.
