Wonderful solo retreat in this elegant old home. Good job, Ryan & Andrea!

Exactly as advertised. It is a splendid old home, decorated lavishly, fabulous towels and bedding. I felt pampered even though there wasn't a soul around! The common spaces were very comfortable and welcoming, and the Blue Jay Suite was perfect for my solo retreat, cozy and comfortable, and the big soaking tub was great. Multiple coffee bars. I nearly had the whole house to myself and barely heard or saw other guests. Felt very safe in the house.

There are a few "old house" quirks: squeaky floors, no climate controls in each individual room, non-insulated windows which allowed a lot of street noise inside, and the backyard/garden definitely could use attention.

Great location, beautiful mansion, comfy room and we really enjoyed the large tub in the room. They have coffee stations and a game room. There is also a communal fridge and microwave in the game room.

Having a larger trash can and mini fridge in the room would be nice if you’re staying for longer than a night.

The Beland mansion was an extraordinary experience for a romantic getaway.

The property was absolutely beautiful. From the moment the front door opens, you are entering a wonderful experience. The house is inviting and beautifully decorated with many locations to sit comfortably and talk. The room was incredible as well and the hosts are incredibly nice and caring!

It would have been nice if the fountain in the back were working. The garden area was not in the best shape, but the room and house were so beautiful, we could easily overlook the garden issues.

Overall, we loved the place. Was like being home while out of town!

This place is super cute, spacious and comfortable! I loved the shared spaces in the home. The formal area downstairs with lots of seating and upstairs, the great room with cozy seating, a pool table and a wet area with coffee pods.

There was a fridge in the great room area but there was no bottled water offered and the ice maker wasn't connected so you couldn't enjoy tap water over ice if you wanted. Offering a couple bottles of water in the room or even a few bottles in the fridge would be a nice treat. Sam, the caretaker was super nice. He even mentioned to us that he was going to hook up the ice maker(which was funny because we had thought the same thing)
