Right in the heart of the city. The windows kept the noise out. A parking garage was right across the street and was easy to access. The instructions on how to enter the property were easy to follow and the host was very helpful with providing batteries for a remote control. The room is a short walk to Comerica Park and many restaurants.
The elevator in the building was a little rickety but worked. The elevator code was sometimes difficult. (This is a problem with the building NOT the rented apartment)
We also noted that the shades did not go all the way down to block out all the light at night.

Perfect location for exploring downtown Detroit or attending an event. The unit was nice and cool when we entered and the beds were comfortable. We would have loved to have stayed longer, the check in instructions were very clear.
