Superb 2Bed/2Bath Flat Waterloo London

Lovely sparkling clean flat in a very convenient location, only a five minute walk to Waterloo Station for overland and underground connections. The owner came to welcome us and was charming and interesting to chat with. It is also on Lower Marsh, which is packed with interesting places to eat and has a great market with a whole range of stalls selling hand crafted items. Supermarket across the road. Perfect place to stay in central London!

The property was perfect for our family of 3. My 10 y.o. had her own bedroom but there was also a common area where we could all hang out. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The location is amazing, and that’s really what makes this a 10 property. It’s less than 10 minutes to Waterloo station, which has several underground lines as well as the national rail. There are three or four grocery stores and lots of cafes within easy walking distance as well. The owner was kind and very accessible for questions.

The only downsides are that there are a lot of stairs, which was fine for us but might be a challenge for folks with mobility issues, and the neighborhood is a bit noisy, even at night.

Location was amazing! Lots of options for getting groceries, eating out and best of all, only a short walk right to the Thames and downtown London and also a few minutes walk to Waterloo Station and bus stops. Great vibe.

We have fed back a list of issues back to the owner. No instructions whatsoever in the flat regarding how to access WIFI (we had to ask owner), what to do with rubbish etc. All the things that are normally available in a handover folder. The apartment is very tired.... some of the windows didn't stay open, blinds broken, fan in bathroom not working etc. Just needs a few bits of attention and fixing. The apartment was OK but quite basic (not quite as nice as it looked in the photos). The kitchen was only just stocked with enough appliances and the furnishings were very basic and had decent wear. Overall, we spent very little time there, so it was a good to flop at the end of the day. Our biggest issue was that we came out one day and the lockbox for the keys had been opened by someone else - so not confident in leaving keys in there while we went out.
