Nice and Comfortable suite with GYM in Polanco

Check in was a breeze, I arrived at 2 am and entering with the code was no problem. There were 2 elevators to my floor. The unit was as described, plenty big enough for 1-2 people, self contained and clean as a whistle. There was a 2 burner stove, mini fridge, a big fan, great shower with limitless hot water, filtered water and the bed was comfortable and huge. There was sufficient cookware (1 pot 1 pan) to make breakfast and heat dinner. There was a coffee machine (drip) with reusable filter.The wifi was excellent. The space was quiet, the only unit on the floor (my suite shared the floor with only the gym and laundry). The only noises were typical city noises, virtually none from neighbours. There is a bakery nearby and the unit always smelled like a delicious butter croissant. 24/7 security, the building felt very safe. The location in Polanco was within easy walking distance of supermarkets, malls, pharmacies, costco, Museo Soumaya and Jumex, and lots of restaurants and street stalls. If dental tourism is your reason for visiting, there is an excellent clinic within a 3-minute walk. Uber is easy to catch right out front.

- There were no dish towels or dishcloth, and no drying rack, no face cloths. It made doing dishes awkward. I bought some disposable cloth (like j-cloth) to manage this. The owner placed very strict rules on not using the 2 post shower body towels provided for anything else, including removing make-up or drying dishes but did not provide towels or cloths for other purposes. - The buildings laundry facilities were in disrepair, 2 of 3 units out of service. The one working machine was in demand, but worked very well and quickly. Not sure how much control the unit manager has over this.

Definitely the location is top tier. The area feels safe, you got plazas close to you, restaurants, banks, movies, activities all walking distance.

The gym is definitely a hotel gym meme. If you want to get a great workout in, you wont. but theres a planet fitness near by, this is passable for an emergency gym.
