The property was in a great location. Very quiet off on a side street. Would definitely be hard to find in the dark but host provides excellent instructions. It was a short walk from Kyoto station. The home was very clean and well equipped. We especially appreciated the washing machine. The home could use a few more hooks for hanging towels and clothes. The stairs up to the loft are quite steep but the lift area was very comfortable and spacious for 2 adults and a toddler. The hand rail at the top of the stirs is a bit wobbly and could use tightening. The home was warm enough during spring time but we did use the heater some mornings. I imagine it could be cold inside if visiting during colder months. We spent some time in the back yard but it could use a bit of cleaning up and maybe a chair or two. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay again.
