Perfect in every aspect

Everything The staff there really were the best we had ever encountered they went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. the quiet location, the view, the pool, the evening meals. I just had such a nice feel. You could spend hours watching the rice paddy fields there was always something going on it was fascinating. Stayed for 4 nights but could have stayed so much longer. Do not be tempted to stay for one night only you will regret it. There is plenty to do around with a short taxi drive if you feel you must leave this wonderful accommodation.

Quiet, cozy, beautiful

What a beautiful view! Seriously, one of the most amazing things about this trip was waking up to the rice fields. We decided to have brekkie in the room for our last night, and it felt very special to be able to live that. Also, such a peaceful and quiet place, all we needed. We were there for new years eve, and woke up with the fireworks from the locals at midnight, I had the most beautiful view of the mountains sparklign with fireworks everywhere, great memory for the record. The pool it's great, I wish we had the chance to enjoy a bit more. Breakfast was included, simple, but did the job and the juice was really delicious. The bedroom with a living room was extremely comfortable and spacious, so again, would have been great to spend more time there. Bed and pillows very comfortable too! Location it's close to a waterfall, but we didn't get the chance to see. A few steps to a indomarket, ATM options, pharmacy... all you need really. Also close to a local market, like real local market, we were the only tourists there hahaha

- They have a restaurant offering dinner as well, and we really wanted to try but didn't feel cozy enough and the environment it's just plain. This is a tip for you guys to improve on the decoration so your visitors can actually feel like staying and not going somewhere else.

Amazing location, clean and big rooms and washrooms. The view from the room is great. The pool facing the fields and mountains is the highlight. Delicious breakfast. Do try Dadar guling!

Peaceful and beautiful stay with the most hospitable staff!

There were many things we liked about our stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and hospitable. They even created a Whatsapp group so we could easily get in touch with them for any requests. The food is great! They have many options. Our favourites the Nasi Goreng and the Babi Kecap. Mango juice was great too. My husband is coeliac as well and they did great in accommodating to his dietary requirements! They even had gluten free soy sauce and oyster sauce so no changes were needed for so many of their dishes which was so nice. The property is jawdroppingly beautiful (the pictures don’t do justice to it!). We felt like we were living in a dream. You have such a beautiful view of the mountains and the fullness of its trees. It is also very peaceful and quiet. Overall, we loved our stay. Thanks for everything!

As mentioned in other reviews, the temperature of the shower is hard to regulate. However, we found a hack for this. The shower is able to maintain your preferred temperature if initially you leave the hot water running for a bit (~2-3 mins). After finding this, regulating the temperature was no longer a problem! We found the mattress a bit uncomfortable, it sinks in the middle a bit and it feels a bit springy. However, for the price and how beautiful this property is, it is well worth it.

Amazing villas. Beautiful location

The villas are very new and in good state. The rice fields are amazing. They are also quite insect proof, as we had two other villas before (other parts of Bali) and there were mosquito nets around the bed needed. Here they were not even needed, as the windows and doors closed properly (which is not always the case in other places). You also get your own water dispenser which is refilled whenever needed, which is amazing as tourists can’t drink tap water. The breakfast is also amazing. We had a gecko living on our balcony, so every night you hear the famous “ge-cko” sounds. Amazing Bali experience. It’s the most authentic Bali region we’ve been, as there are not that many tourists

The only minus was that the wood around the pool needs to be renewed, as it’s old and seems easy to get wood parts in your feet

Stunning location and stay. Highly recommended.

The setting is spectacular. The room i was in was clean, modern and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The pool looking out over a tranquil rice paddy valley is stunning. Powerful AC in the bedroom.

No AC in the living room / kitchen meant that room was quite hot. Gaps under the balcony door meant large wildlife could come in. Spent about half an hour trying to catch a big lizard. The WiFi was a little inconsistent. The sun beds around the pool are uncomfortable when flat, they definitely needed cushions. These are all small issues that didn’t take away anything from my enjoyment of the stay. I would 100% return to stay again.

I took myself on a Solo Honeymoon and I enjoyed every minute. An exceptional place for special moments! It is ideal for people looking for nature, calm and privacy.

Amazing accomodation option in Munduk, better than we could have hoped for!

We loved everything about our stay at Mayura Bali Villa. The team were so welcoming on arrival and available throughout our stay for everything we needed. The views were like nothing I've seen before – all the cabins had uninterrupted views over the rice fields with a deck to sit outside and soak it all in. Really comfy beds and couch to sit on just inside, facing the fields. We had a mix of weather while we were there – lots of rain and low-hanging cloud, which made it feel all the more magical – as well as a sunny afternoon, which meant we could enjoy the infinity pool. We even had massages on site, the perfect rainy day activity! A couple of local warungs nearby had some good food options that we tried during the day but we ate dinner on site both nights as it just felt easier. Close to the main waterfalls and hikes, we'd love to come back one day!

The breakfast options were a little basic and dinner options were also limited if you don't eat meat but they were so accomodating and made sure we had something we could eat both nights so we didn't mind at all.

Amazing place

We loved absolutely everything! Beautiful villa with stunning view. Incredible staff, super tasty breakfast. You can just chill in the villa watching rice terraces, take a deep in the pool watching rice terraces and mountains or just take a nice walk in the village. Many waterfall around and not so many tourists so if you like to stay away from the crowd, this place is highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful quiet place with great views and great people

It's a very nice and quiet place with a great staff. The view from the room and the pool is incredible and it's great to be in the middle of nature and rice fields. The place consists of only 4 villas (very well equipped) which are right next to a rice field so it is very quiet and calm. At the same time it's very easy to move around with a scooter or driver and the staff will happily assist you (I strongly recommend swimming at Bayumala waterfalls). The restaurant is also very nice so we stayed around for most of our meals but if you want there is a town around the corner (not touristic at all) with some warungs and noodle places. Special thanks to the team that works there, very nice people.

Perfect place. Here are only 4 vilas so its very silent, privacy is at max level. Staff is great and will help you with motorbikes, massages. Breakfast is tasty as well. I do not want to leave this place :)

Superb views of the rice field valley and green mountains from the comfort of your own villa!

The villa is very new and fresh. The large windows and the balcony offer superb views of the rice fields and the green mountains. It felt like looking at a painting. The infinity pool was clean and quiet and offers excellent larger than life views of the green surroundings and valley. The staff arranged for the baby crib for our 3 month old baby. The staff also provided us with room service at breakfast and dinner time. We highly recommend staying here when your in Munduk. We expect these villas to be in high demand constantly. A private vineyard

Only 5 cottages! placed in a beautiful garden the size of a vineyard. In the middle of rice fields and in the far distance the forest. If you like privacy, frogs/ cricket sounds this is the place to relax. Super sweet staff. For a few bucks you can hire a motorbike and visit some nice waterfalls, temples etc. If you want to party or shop then this is not your place.

Some problems with the shower. It's too hot or cold. It's just opened so probably will be solved soon.

What a gem! Unique & amazing place to stay!

Brand new property, very very comfortable and luxurious feeling without being overpriced or too much. The view is like nothing else!! Wish I could stay longer but might be coming back at the end of the trip. Bed, facilities, design and comfort are all outstanding! This is that place that you want to remain a secret but have to share because it’s so so worth it! Felt really fortunate & blessed sitting on my porch and enjoy the surrounding and villa! Though take earplugs with you because of the frogs&gekko’s in the ricefield but thats also very special! Definitely coming back sooner or later :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mayura Bali Villa, and I can’t stop raving about this hidden gem nestled amidst the breathtaking rice fields. The moment I stepped into my room, I was captivated by the stunning views of the lush greenery – a truly enchanting experience. Our room was excellent - stunning views and private. It was spacious and comfortably furnished and the bathroom worked very well. Sitting on the terrace, I immersed myself in the tranquility of the surroundings, reading my book and listening to the harmonious sounds of nature. The view of the rice fields and mountains in the distance completed the picture-perfect scene. Additionally, the pool was a pristine oasis. The food was wholesome and tasty and the staff were friendly and humble. The staff is what has made this stay so great. They are so kind and friendly and they try to accommodate every request.
