Le Jardin - Pl St Sauveur - Hypercentre

Excellent location. Garden pleasant to look out on although we didn’t use it due to the weather. Generally quiet. Kitchen has everything you need, although not modern. Host allowed us access early and responded quickly to WhatsApp. Easy check in with key box.

First impression clean, however we then discovered mold in shower, quite a few cobwebs in the ceiling, and we pulled out a comforter from the closet which had a nasty stain. Not necessarily negative but the apt is just behind a restaurant kitchen, which we didn’t know before arriving. No real issues with that.

This property was fantastic. We arrived in Caen earlier than the check‑in time, so I messaged the owner, Marie, on WhatsApp to ask whether we could access the apartment early. She replied instantly and said it was absolutely fine. I initially had a bit of trouble with the keys, but that was entirely on me for not reading all the instructions properly (man brain). Once I actually paid attention, getting in was simple. And once we stepped inside, we found our little slice of heaven. The apartment was spotless, beautifully set up, and so comfortable that we settled in immediately. I absolutely recommend this cosy little place to anyone who wants their own space while exploring the area. This truly was a highlight of our stay in Caen. Thank you, Marie.
