I recently had the pleasure of staying at Whalehouse on Bribie Island, and I can confidently say it was one of the best accommodations I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the pristine condition of the property. Every corner was immaculate, showcasing the hosts' commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail. The comfort of the space was outstanding. The furnishings were not only stylish but also incredibly cozy, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The amenities provided were top-notch; I had everything I needed at my fingertips, from a fully equipped kitchen to plush bedding that promised a restful night's sleep. Whalehouse boasts a fabulous location, just a stone's throw from the beach, allowing for effortless access to the sun, sand, and surf. The design of the accommodation is lovely, blending modern aesthetics with a warm, inviting atmosphere that instantly felt like home. What truly set this experience apart, however, were the hosts. Their hospitality was exceptional; they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, even offering to assist me with checking in as I had a late arrival. I cannot recommend Whalehouse enough—it's truly a gem on Bribie Island. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The location was great, close to shops and beach walks

The bathroom/ toilet area was too small. The bedrooms were not private, you had to walk through one to get to the other. The tenant upstairs was very noisy early in the morning, thumping about on the floor above. Woke me up early in the morning.

Loved the location and backyard for dog to have grass to go toilet on

The noise was terrible at 5.15 am and 6 am with the person living above leaving for work early. Squeaky floorboards and foot traffic noise. After travelling long days was looking forward to catching up on a bit of sleep but no luck. To have to put up with that the price of place was way too high. Should have been half of what I paid per night. The place was nice other than that even though lawns had been mowed and don’t think they used a grass catcher as every time you walked on the lawn - so much wet grass from the mornings were brought in. No instructions how to use the microwave/oven. Couldn’t use it as wasn’t sure if I had it on oven setting or microwave.
